google ads turned into adchoices,What You Need to Know About Google AdChoices

google ads turned into adchoices,What You Need to Know About Google AdChoices
If you’ve spent any time online, chances are that you’ve seen your fair share of Google AdSense ads. In fact,it wouldn’t be too surprising if you’ve purchased a product from an AdSense ad while you weren’t even aware that it was an offer from Google. Making money with AdSense has become the bread and butter of many advertisers and Internet marketers over the past few years, but today savvy small business owners are also reaping the benefits, too.Recently,Google AdSense has made some changes to its platform that alters how its ads show up to users. These changes could have an impact on the effectiveness of AdSense ads. How?
Firstly, let’s take a look at how AdSense works. In the early days of Internet advertising, companies would offer websites a commission of sales based on sales (or simply clicks) to ad-banners on the aforementioned sites. This type of advertising is still very much alive and well in the form of affiliate marketing. Google, however, decided to change the game when they developed AdSense. The effectiveness of their ads proved to be more efficient for both consumers and advertisers, and soon making money from Adsense became the norm.

AdSense ads are specifically targeted towards consumers; meanwhile advertisers only pay for leads that are genuinely interested enough to click through. If you’re on a website about boating and the webmaster has AdSense enabled, chances are the ads will be for boats or sporting products. The reason is this is that Google detects the content, assess the keywords and phrases, and generates the advertisements accordingly. On the flip side, advertisers only pay for an ad each time that it’s clicked on due to AdSense being a form of pay-per-click advertising. Due to this, advertisers receive more legitimate, interested leads for cheap. Theoretically, it’s a win-win and therefore why so many marketers are trying to make money from AdSense today.

Google used to stamp AdSense ads with its phrase “Ads by Google,” but thanks to a recent change to Google’s platform, this is no longer the case. Now “AdChoices” will appears where “Ads by Google” used to be. While this may seem insignificant, Internet Marketers are curious as to how this may impact those currently making money with AdSense. Google themselves claim that they don’t predict that the Google AdChoices label will do anything at all. Then why the change? According to Google, it’s for the sake of user experience and letting users better understand the ads that they’re seeing. Will the Google AdChoices label alter how marketers make money from AdSense? It’s too soon to tell as the change continues to pop up across the Internet.

If you aren’t using Google AdSense yourself, perhaps now is a good time in the wake of the new Google AdChoices change. By understanding pay-per-click advertising, your small business can start making money with AdSense sooner rather than later.
