Technology,Hybrid Power Plant in Indonesia

PLTH (Hybrid Power Plant is generating electricity is used more than 1 kind of plant. But a somewhat different is the combination of these combine renewable energy sources (renewable) with non-renewable (unrenewable).
There PLTH, renewable energy use can come from solar, wind, and others combined with a Diesel-Generator Set to become a power-efficient,effective and reliable in order to supply electrical energy needs well as home lighting or equipment needs other electrical such as TV,

water pump, electric strika and needs of small industries in the area. With the combination of these energy sources,is expected to provide continuous electric power supply with the most optimal efficiency.
The following figure shows an example system that combines PLTH Solar, Wind, and Diesel Generators.
The government built the largest hybrid electric power project in Indonesia. Development is done in New Pandansimo Coast region, Ngentak Hamlet, Village Poncosari, Srandakan Bantul District, Yogyakarta Special Region.

"This hybrid electric energy in Indonesia. This project is a pilot and later can be expanded to other areas," said State Minister for Research and Technology (Research and Technology), Suharna Surapranata, when the groundbreaking of the pilot development of hybrid electric energy.

Hybrid electric energy conversion systems that use wind energy and solar energy systems. The power plant consists of 40 windmills. One windmill can generate 1 kilowatt electricity. In addition, for solar energy using solar panels with electric energy production capacity to 15,000 watts.

Development of hybrid electric energy consuming Rp 3 billion fund from the Ministry of Research and Technology. There are also financial support by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of Bantul regency, Yogyakarta Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia Society Scientists and Technology. The total funds disbursed to reach 5 billion.

Hybrid electrical energy that was built in the fishing village Pandansimo Coast could be used for local needs. That is, to produce 1,000 pounds of ice cubes per day and to pump water wells jointly and severally to the needs of farmers in the coastal areas, especially in the dry season. In addition, the electrical energy generated can also be for public street lighting.

Bantul Regent Idham revealed, with the development of hybrid electric energy will be able to support the program Pemkab Bantul who want to develop plantations and agriculture in coastal areas. As is known, on the southern coast of Yogyakarta that is being developed for agriculture, such as melon, dragon fruit, tomato, onion, garlic, and chili.
"With hybrid electric power system that the area of New Pandansimo Coast fishing village will also be developed as a tourist area Agro Fisheries Technopark,"
