The man who plays James Bond and the Academy Award-winning star of such films as “The Constant Gardener”got married last Wednesday in New York.A rep for Weisz confirmed the news to People magazine,while a rep for Craig did the same to the Associated Press.
Craig,43,and Weisz,41,reportedly began dating late last year, not long after Weisz announced her split from “Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky, whom she dated for nine years and was engaged to for five. Weisz and Aronofsky have a five-year-old son, Henry,who was one of just four people reportedly present during the ceremony that joined Weisz and Craig in holy matrimony.
Also present: Daniel’s 18-year-old daughter,Ella,from his previous,two-year marriage to actress Fiona Loudon. Craig began dating Weisz —with whom he co-stars in the upcoming “Dream House” —after ending a lengthy engagement to producer Satsuki Mitchell.
Craig and Weisz have been friends for many years and initially denied reports that they were an item. But now their commitment to each other seems pretty clear. Also clear: man, do they make an attractive couple.
