Apple store most photographed location in New York City

The Big Apple is known for several things: the Statue of Liberty,the Empire State Building and Central Park,to name a few.
Yet none of these notable locations rank as the most photographed place in New York City,according to an analysis of photos on sharing sites Flickr and Picasa.

So,what is the most photographed spot in New York City? Apple's glass cube store on Fifth Avenue. Blog ifoAppleStore.com has more details.
Research Eric Fischer analyzed millions of photographs, compiling location data as well as dates and times. He then created heat maps to determine popular locations in the city.

Ranking behind Apple's store were Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Columbus Circle.
Fischer has a complete collection of heat maps similar to NYC at Flickr, featuring cities including San Francisco and London.
